Enjoyed a dinner with a friend here last night and had to comment on how lovely and welcoming the restaurant staff were. They went out of their way to make a late birthday meal special and I was touched by the unexpected birthday surprise. The food was beautifully presented and high quality.

We had a great dinner tonight. All dishes were very good and service was excellent. We were celebrating my father’s birthday and the waiter was so nice to light up his lighter for him (sorry to forget to ask his name). Brandi was also very friendly and sweet. We would love to visit again!

This was our first time here and we were blown away. Food was amazing and the decor really sets the stage for a wonderful experience. Staff was really welcoming and happy to help with the menu. Plenty of vegan options, so there's something for everyone. Will definitely be back. 5*

Had a great dinner hear, staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was also excellent, having been to Thailand the food certainly tasted authentic. Restaurant is nicely decorated!

This was my second visit to Giggling Squid in Chislehurst, and I have to say, it’s quickly becoming a favourite. I’ve eaten at countless places and tried squid dishes all over, but hands down, this place serves the best salt and pepper squid I’ve ever had! It’s perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of crunch—one of those dishes that leaves you craving more. The service was also spot-on. The staff was warm, friendly, and made us feel right at home. They’ve really got a knack for creating a welcoming vibe, which is a big part of why I’d come back. Now, as much as I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, there was a bit of... shall we say, “extra excitement” at the table next to us. The kids there seemed to have a mind of their own, and despite their parents’ best efforts, they weren’t exactly quiet dinner companions. Let’s just hope for a bit of luck with our seating next time! Overall, Giggling Squid has secured its spot as our go-to in the area. For anyone who appreciates friendly service and top-notch squid, this place is a must. I am looking forward to my next visit (hopefully with quieter neighbours)!

Very pleasant experience during the first ever visit to a Giggling Squid restaurant. Ambience was good with colourful walls in light shades not commonly seen elsewhere. The decorations were also nice. The food quality was pretty good, and the portions were just right. Can't complain about their service as well. There are not many free parking spaces around, but luckily, we managed to find a spot during our visit. All in all, it was a memorable experience at Giggling Squid and will not hesitate to go there again.

Absolutely incredible restaurant, was kindly greeted by the manager who sat us, the menu here is insane, it took me ages to even choose a dish as everything sounded delicious. I was blown away by the flavours in every started/dish I tried, and by the cocktails too. It might honestly be one of the best meals I’ve had. I can’t fault this place at all, maybe it could benefit from a more lively environment, but I guess it’s in a family oriented area. The manager even went as far as offering us a free desert as compensation for a dish arriving late which we had to decline as we were too full, so he then went as far as reducing part of our bill as a good will gesture. I kindly left a tip and noticed him give the tip to the waitress directly which made me feel even happier. Overall amazing restaurant with genuinely good staff and great management. Would definitely visit again and recommend to all.
